Last Wednesday night, staff at the Centre for History of Science put their glad rags on to assist with a special private viewing of our current exhibition Intersections: Henry Moore and stringed surfaces.
The evening kicked off in style with an introduction from Paul Nurse PRS, followed by a speech from Anita Feldman, head of collections and exhibitions at the Henry Moore foundation. Guests enjoyed browsing the gallery and mingling over drinks, and we were on hand to talk about the exhibits and discuss other aspects of the Centre’s work with them.
If you would like to visit the exhibition yourself it is normally open Monday to Friday 10am-5pm. It was scheduled to close on June 20th, but we’re currently hoping to extend it throughout the Society’s Summer Science Exhibition so more people can come and enjoy the fascinating sculptures on display. Please see the exhibition website or contact us for more information.
