Katherine Ford is a collaborative PhD student based at the University of Reading and the Royal Society working on ‘The Role of the Royal Society in Victorian Literary Culture’ after completing a Masters in Victorian Studies at the University of Leicester. Since starting her PhD in October 2011 she spends most of her time in the archives and library of the Royal Society.
