The Royal Society funds research across a wide range of science, and this year we invited all Royal Society research fellows to submit their interesting and unusual images to the ‘Picturing Science’ competition. We received over 100 entries, which can all be viewed on the Royal Society’s Flickr page.
Here are the winners and runners up in each category, selected by our judging panel. They will all be on display as part of the Summer Science Exhibition 2013 on 2-7 July, so if you are planning on visiting the exhibition make sure you head to Carlton House garden opposite the Royal Society to have a look.
Thanks to everyone who entered and congratulations to the winners and runners up.
