Innovation policy is my patch within the Science Policy Centre, and I work as part of a team focussed on Government policies for science and research in the UK. I spend my time trying to work out how innovation policies can help science and research lead to the greatest benefits for society, which takes me from basic science and technology transfer in Universities, through to financial and tax incentives for business investment R&D, as well as everything in between. I blog about all of this and assorted other science policy things.
