Here’s Dr Jim Wild talking about the exhibit Aurora explorer and how energy comes from the Earth’s magnetic field causing the Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights. At their exhibit you can find out about the Cluster project, a series of space crafts, that are researching how energy from solar wind fire electrically charged particles to make them glow and form the Northern Lights.
