Raiders of the lost amp!

Posted by on 18 July 2011

Energy is made and used many times a day in many different ways. It can be hard to keep track of it. Energy is falling through our fingertips like grains of sand and sometimes it can be quite a shock when the electricity bill arrives. But Graham Calderbank from the University of Central Lancashire and his team are here to save the day. This video shows how we can conserve energy and cut down on the waste produced. Their exhibit Energy harvesting – raiders of the lost amp has some very inventive ways of making energy but it certainly makes it one of the noisiest!
